It was announced earlier this week that Adrian Pickstock, Chief Executive Officer of The Interactive Advertising Bureau of New Zealand (IABNZ) has joined the judging panel of the inaugural Broadband Compare Awards (http://www.broadbandawards.co.nz/).
The Broadband Compare Awards offer New Zealand broadband providers throughout the country an opportunity to be recognised as leading the way in the ever-changing broadband and telco sector.
Adrian joins a diverse panel of judges that includes representatives from GrownUps.co.nz, the NZ eSports Federation and Consumer NZ – New Zealand’s trusted source of independent consumer information. With twelve awards up for grabs including, Best Fibre Provider, Best Business Broadband, Best Broadband Innovation, Best Gaming Broadband Provider and Best Rural ISP, the awards will help consumers and businesses to make decisions on which is the most suitable internet provider for their needs.
Commenting on the announcement, founder and CEO of Broadband Compare Gavin Male, said: “It is fantastic to have Adrian join the judging panel of the Broadband Compare Awards. With revenue generated by interactive advertising surpassing NZD $890m last year it is vital to have a strong business perspective on the judging panel. The interactive advertising sector in New Zealand is evolving rapidly and the opportunities arising for business and consumers through the rollout of fibre and the rural broadband initiative make Adrian’s point of view in the judging process invaluable.
“These awards provide a unique opportunity to recognise and celebrate the many achievements of the broadband sector and the companies, and individuals whose efforts are making a significant contribution to the sector and I would highly recommend any company considering entering the awards to take a shot. With more than 30,000 Kiwis comparing broadband every month through the Broadband Compare website a winning entry could pay back big time.”
Entries are open now and more information is available at http://www.broadbandawards.co.nz/. The awards night is on November 2, 2017 at The Sapphire Room in Auckland.
