Spark Broadband

Digital technology can make a significant, positive impact on our nation's social and economic wellbeing – enabling stronger, safer, more connected communities (even in the most remote rural areas), opening more opportunities for our children (regardless of their socio-economic backgrounds), and improving health outcomes for New Zealanders of all ages and walks of life.

It can enable Kiwi companies to compete - and win - on the world stage and become smarter, more agile businesses by harnessing all the benefits of new technologies such as Cloud services and the Internet of Things.

Spark's success is dependent on our customers in one key market: New Zealand. That's why we're passionate about using technology to be truly useful to our customers, helping make our country better and enriching the lives of all New Zealanders. We want to be the most valued brand in the home, and the most trusted partner for business.

Even though I was assured at sign-up that I could keep my non-Spark email address, the reality was different. Pros
100% reliable fibre
Cons
Non-Spark email not welcome. Billing account was not always delivered meaning I was often paying an overdue account.

I have been with Spark from Telecom days. I found the digital world a whole new phenomenon and very hard to comprehend.( I'm now 73) So setting up broadband and mobile phones was affected by this and from memory, Spark certainly helped with their patience.
Pros
Helpful and persevered in teaching me. One time they approached me to point out that I was on the wrong plan and pointed to a cheaper one.
Cons
In earlier days, harder to get hold of. and generally could have been more helpful

The 0800 team is rude and not serious . I got 4 different answers from 4 person regarding why I suddenly got a more expensive bill while I am still during 1 year fixed contract.
Enough is enough, decide to walk away from this company in no time.
